FBEMC Service Area  French Broad EMC currently serves over 39,000 customers in Western North Carolina and Eastern Tennessee. Our service area is shown below in the map of the four Western North Carolina counties and two Eastern Tennessee counties in which we provide electricity. The service area is shaded darker on the map below in the counties of Buncombe, Cocke, Madison, Mitchell, Unicoi and Yancey.
